Third-party sessions start in default mode; image reads capped at 128 MB

Claude -p and Agent SDK sessions with no permission mode now start in default mode on third-party providers with telemetry off or on a fresh install, and fork subagents are on by default across the CLI, Agent SDK, desktop app, and VS Code. The Read tool no longer loads image files of any size into memory and refuses image sources over 128 MB, and idle compaction can be toggled off from a new row in /config.

ChatGPT Slides lets users create presentations from a conversation, files, or an outline and refine text, images, shapes, and charts directly or by asking ChatGPT. Teammates can edit the same deck in real time and leave shared comments, with present-from-ChatGPT and export to PowerPoint, PDF, or Google Slides on web and PowerPoint or Keynote in the desktop app.

GPT-6 Pro now runs parallel agents on tasks

GPT-6 Pro in the chat tab now runs multiple agents that can work on different parts of a task in parallel, with progress visible in the conversation and completed tasks openable to see what each agent did. Responses are faster and plugin and tool use is improved, rolling out to eligible Pro users.
