Monthly updates for October 2026 (features rolling out through the month):
npx @buildinternet/releases get gongRecently shipped AI Tracker and AI Data Extractor improvements alongside expanded CRM integration and platform-wide UI refinements.
AI-driven tracking gained granular control and broader access. Dedicated permissions for managing AI Trackers and Theme Spotter analyses no longer require Business Admin access. Smart Trackers now filter by email label and direction (inbound/outbound), and a new report shows where trackers are used across the platform. AI Data Extractor fields are editable in the Account console, and extracted data maps to custom CRM object attributes for deeper workflow automation.
Briefs and API automation expanded. Account, deal, contact, and call briefs are now triggerable via the Gong API, enabling external integrations and custom workflows. Automatic brief delivery routes summaries to specific users based on configurable triggers.
CRM reach extended. Gong conversation data now pushes into Microsoft Dynamics custom objects with richer metadata for reporting and automation. HubSpot's settings page was redesigned for clarity. Local business phone numbers are now purchasable in additional markets.
Gong Assistant opened to all seats. The assistant is available to every Gong user, not just specific tiers. File upload for additional context, document creation from Gong data, scorecard generation, and broader platform reach let teams create assets directly from conversation data.
UI and workflow updates. Fonts, buttons, inputs, and tags received a visual refresh. Dashboard periods now support rolling windows (last week, last month). A new sidebar Assets section consolidates email templates, flows, scorecards, and trainings. Call sharing now accepts a company domain, granting access to entire organizations. Voicemail drop launched for pre-recorded message delivery.
Data Cloud changes to note. Snowflake now supports multiple Gong instances as separate databases. Numeric decimal fields in BigQuery, Databricks, and Redshift changed to BIGINT — the __NEXT fields were deleted in June.
Added new metrics to the GONG_USAGE table:
- AI_DOCUMENTS_GENERATED: Number of documents created by the user in Gong Assistant (battlecards, FAQs, talk tracks, etc.)
- GONG_ASSETS_GENERATED: Number of Gong assets such as scorecards generated by the user in Gong…
