Grok
xAI's conversational AI assistant — web, iOS, and Android.
npx @buildinternet/releases get grokChat history now stays in sync across browser tabs, and an Remove Background action on the post page extracts subjects from images. Also added team invites via organization directory search, voice mode for project conversations, subscription triggers filtered by product and customer, plus assorted fixes across chat, Imagine, Projects, and Automations.
Fixed scrambled message order in history search previews and composer layout shifts on paste, plus chat retry cards instead of "Chat not found" errors. Imagine tags return for organizing saved assets, Voice tiles become a Voice Library list, and SuperGrok upgrades to Grok Business are available from grok.com.
Adds a new project config tab for instructions and automations, and lets videos generated at 720p be upscaled to 1080p from the canvas. Chat now auto-retries failed connections and re-attaches in-flight responses on reopen, and Imagine supports saved reference images with rename, delete, and hover previews.
Chat page-load failures now recover automatically instead of showing a blank screen, and responses appear correctly when the same chat is open in two tabs. Imagine adds an audio on/off toggle for video generation and a redesigned prompt bar; Projects gains 3D model (STL, OBJ) and KiCad file previews plus multi-file project creation.
Chat reconnects more reliably after connection drops, with clearer errors when the network blocks Grok's live connection. Failed video generations no longer leave empty posts, stuck image feeds recover on their own, and image generation errors now show the actual reason.
Automations run user-defined instructions on a schedule or when matching emails arrive from Gmail or Outlook, and can use connected apps and custom skills. Results are delivered in the app or to the user's inbox.
Grok iOS app 1.3.97 adds a Dictate to Grok shortcut that launches the app into dictation mode and sends messages by voice from the Shortcuts app, Action Button, or Siri.
You can now share your screen during a Grok Voice conversation on iOS and Android. Grok sees what's on your screen in real time, so you can ask about anything in front of you and get answers without breaking the conversation.
