Gemini Notebook mobile app users can record lectures with a new audio recorder and, for users 18 and older, hold real-time voice conversations with their notebooks in nearly 100 languages. Exam prep expands with short answer, multiple choice, and fill-in-the-blank quizzes, customizable questions, chat about quiz and flashcard performance, interactive learning overviews under Reports, and shareable ~60-second Short Video Overviews in more than 80 languages.

The Google Chat API message pin endpoints are now generally available and no longer restricted to the Developer Preview Program, letting developers programmatically pin, unpin, and list pinned messages in a Chat space.

OAuth refresh tokens are now retained on refresh and credential deletion is idempotent. PTY file descriptor cleanup and execution lifecycle management improved, guard added against negative layout dimensions in border rendering, and flaky run_shell_command and file-system-interactive integration tests deflaked.

All four are off by default and admins enable them in the Admin Console under Apps > Google Workspace > Workspace Studio, with approval settings for custom steps, integrations, and webhook URL allowlisting on higher editions.

Expert Intelligence lets users add compatible ebooks purchased from Google Play Books directly to a Gemini Notebook, grounding responses in the book's text and generating infographics, Audio Overviews, and quizzes. Admins must enable Gemini Notebook, Google Play, and Google Books for users in the same organizational unit, and recipients of shared notebooks must also own an eligible Play Book ebook to interact with it.

ChromeOS stable channel moves to OS version 16765.49.0, carrying browser version 152.0.7977.129, for most ChromeOS devices. No specific fixes or features are itemized; users are directed to file bugs or send feedback.

Google released antigravity-preview-09-2026, replacing and deprecating antigravity-preview-05-2026, which shuts down on October 5, 2026. Remote-sandbox users reading only output_text or model_output need just the agent string updated, but local tool runners and function_call parsers must switch to new built-in tools including write_to_file, replace_file_content, view_file, list_dir, find_by_name, and grep_search; shell execution and web search are unchanged.

The Stable channel is updated to 154.0.8037.44/.45 for Windows as an early stable release to a small percentage of users. A full list of changes is available in the linked build log.
