Webflow
npx @buildinternet/releases get webflowRecently shipped slot restrictions for component libraries, a unified light/dark theme, and Webflow's arrival in Codex and ChatGPT.
Component systems gained guardrails. Slot restrictions let designers control which components can be placed in component slots, so Marketers can build without breaking layouts. Component visibility controls can hide specific components from the Marketer role entirely. Build mode now supports arrow-key navigation across canvas elements, matching Design mode's keyboard shortcuts.
AI and search surfaces expanded. Webflow is now available in Codex and ChatGPT, with built-in AI skills for site audits, content management, and optimization. Site Goals in Analyze & Optimize let teams define north-star metrics that become the default performance lens across the product. Sitemaps now include <lastmod> timestamps plus canonical-URL domain support, helping search and AI engines re-crawl updated pages faster.
The Webflow UI got a consistent theme. One Light, Dark, or System preference now applies across the product.
Ecommerce is live. The storefront product exited beta, and discounts officially followed, with start/expiration dates, product or category targeting, usage and per-customer limits, minimum order values, and free shipping. Email controls route new order notifications, resend confirmations, and preview designs with real store products.
