Multi-currency payouts landed for US merchants, with CAD, EUR, AUD, and GBP now available alongside expanded payout currencies in Singapore and Hong Kong.¹

Payments and Commerce grew their international reach. Beyond payout currencies, local payment methods — MobilePay, TWINT, BLIK, Przelewy24 — expanded to dozens more European countries.² Shopify Collective launched in Australia, letting local retailers and suppliers partner without cross-border complexity.³ Merchants can now run multiple legal entities under separate Shopify Payments accounts within a single store, and multi-location pickup arrived in POS so in-store staff can fulfill from any enabled location in one tap.⁴⁵

Checkout and branding controls deepened. The customer sign-in page gained a two-column layout with a customizable brand image panel, editable from the checkout and accounts editor.⁶ Branding settings — logo, colors, typography — now carry through checkout, customer accounts, and sign-in from one place.⁷ Rollouts added scheduling, gradual percentage rollouts, and A/B testing between themes or checkout configurations, including per-market localized content.⁸

Analytics added new chart types and views. Custom reports gained scatter plots and radar charts for pattern spotting and multi-metric comparison.⁹ A cumulative toggle on time-series charts shows running totals, optionally layered with targets or prior-period comparisons.¹⁰

The developer platform pushed forward on two fronts. Shopify CLI 4.0 adopted semantic versioning with automatic self-updates.¹¹ The Shopify AI Toolkit now handles migrations to Polaris web components — required for apps updated after October 1, 2026.¹² Next Generation Events entered developer preview with field-level trigger subscriptions and custom delivery payloads.¹³ App Home can now be built as a Preact-based admin UI extension, removing the need for a separate web server.¹⁴ Shopify App Pricing replaced Managed Pricing and added usage-based billing via the App Events API.¹⁵
