npx @buildinternet/releases get replitRecently shipped a Windows preview of Replit Desktop, cross-project chat, and TikTok Ads creation.
Desktop builds now run locally on Windows. Replit Desktop is in private preview on Windows, running each build in its own isolated sandbox backed by Microsoft Execution Containers and NVIDIA OpenShell.
Chat reaches beyond a single project. From one chat, find existing projects, read their files, and send them tasks — named or described. Work runs as reviewed background tasks and nothing publishes automatically. TikTok Ads can now be created and managed.
Model choice and routing opened up.
- GPT-6.1 Sol in Max, Claude Sonnet 5.5 in Power, and Claude Haiku 5.5 for Core and Pro.
- Auto routes model and effort as a task's complexity changes.
- Free Mode builds without spending Power or Max credits; Conversations convert into Projects; Routines schedule recurring work.
- Jev joined AI Integrations for classification, routing, and lead scoring without API keys.

Agent reaches further out. MCP clients — ChatGPT, Claude, Slack, or any compatible desktop client — create, find, inspect, update, and publish apps. Apps for Meta devices ship with device-specific Agent instructions and QR previews; Muse creates Replit apps from a conversation; Databricks Apps gained Lakebase managed Postgres; Airwallex integrations are testable; custom connectors (beta) reach your own APIs.
Production data and security gained controls. Agent scans the files it changes for risky patterns and hardcoded secrets. Production databases regenerate credentials, take daily scheduled backups, and report usage through Project Analytics. Pro builders pick a workspace region.
Replit Design is live, turning a prompt into interactive mockups that Core and Pro users convert into working apps in the same project. Still in play: Package Firewall, Shopify storefront scaffolding, SEO Agent, and Slides export. Enterprise customers can now host Replit or published apps in their own cloud via BYOC.
