One chat now spans projects. Ask Replit to find existing projects, read their files, and send them tasks without switching contexts. The work runs as background tasks you review — nothing publishes automatically — so you can move a feature between apps or draft docs across several sites.
Model choice and routing opened up. Pick GPT-6.1 Sol in Max mode or Claude Sonnet 5.5 in Power, or set Auto to route model and effort as a task's complexity changes. Free Mode lets you chat and build without spending Power or Max credits, Conversations start private and convert into Projects, and Routines schedule recurring work. MCP reach left the editor. Apps can be created, found, inspected, updated, and published from ChatGPT, Claude, Slack, or any compatible desktop MCP client.
Build targets widened. Apps for Meta devices ship with device-specific Agent instructions and QR previews; Muse can create Replit apps from a conversation; Databricks Apps gained Lakebase managed Postgres; Airwallex integrations are testable; and custom connectors (beta) let Pro and Enterprise teams reach their own APIs.
Production data and security gained controls. Agent now scans the files it changes for risky patterns and hardcoded secrets. Production databases regenerate credentials, take daily scheduled backups with plan-based retention, and report usage through Project Analytics. Pro builders pick a workspace region: North America, Europe (EU), or Asia.
Replit Design is live, turning a prompt into interactive mockups that Core and Pro users convert into working apps in the same project.
