Reset localized component prop defaults

We've added the ability to reset localized component prop defaults back to the primary locale values. When you change a component prop value in a localized page, you can now reset it to match the primary locale's value.

How to reset localized component prop defaults

  1. Navigate to a localized page in the Designer
  2. Select a component instance
  3. In the Inspector, find the prop you've customized for this locale
  4. Click the reset icon next to the prop value
  5. The prop will revert to the primary locale's value

This feature is useful when you want to:

  • Quickly revert accidental changes to localized props
  • Synchronize component props across locales
  • Maintain consistency between locale variations

Use cases

  • Consistency management: Keep component prop values aligned across locales unless intentionally customized
  • Efficient localization: Reduce the need to manually re-enter values when you want to match the primary locale
  • Error correction: Quickly fix mistakes in localized prop configurations
