Localize custom head and body code | Webflow Updates

Localize custom head and body code

You can now localize custom code added to your site's <head> and <body> tags. This allows you to add different custom code for different locales without duplicating your entire site structure.

How it works

When you add custom code to your site's head or body through Settings > Custom code, you'll see locale-specific options. You can:

  • Add code that appears on all locales
  • Add code that only appears on specific locales
  • Override global code for individual locales

Use cases

This feature is helpful for:

  • Loading locale-specific analytics or tracking scripts
  • Adding region-specific fonts or stylesheets
  • Inserting locale-dependent third-party integrations
  • Managing different conversion pixels for different markets

Getting started

  1. Go to Settings > Custom code
  2. Select the code section (Head or Body)
  3. Choose whether the code applies to all locales or specific locales
  4. Add your custom code
  5. Save and publish
