npx @buildinternet/releases get nousresearchHermes Agent v0.21.2 shipped a focused repair campaign for the state.db fragility that v0.21.0 introduced.
Session storage is stable again. Six PRs fixed root causes rather than symptoms, closing 44 issues: concurrent writers no longer cancel each other's locks, healthy databases stop being reported as corrupt, and one bad row no longer takes down sessions list.
Remote Desktop and Cloud sessions stopped expiring mid-use. Refresh requests carrying the same rotating token now coalesce, so a Desktop wake burst can't replay a rotated token into reuse detection and revoke the whole session. Refresh also moved off the event loop, so a slow identity provider no longer freezes the status check.
Three rollup tags landed ahead of v0.22.0's curated notes. v0.21.1, v0.21.4, and v0.21.5 tag main for Docker images, Hermes Cloud, and hosted deployments; the full writeup is deferred. Inside those windows:
- A Desktop plugin SDK with composer draft hooks, sidebar nav preferences, typed settings/skills/toolsets/profiles bridges, and a sandboxed embed primitive
- A Simple/Advanced interface mode for Desktop, plus a Connectors page replacing the MCP tab
