Improved Failed Checks Drilldown

When checks fail, users can now drilldown into underlying telemetry while maintaining context.

Dash0 analyzes the PromQL expression behind the check and extracts the metric names and label filters. Spans, logs, and web events cards display only when relevant synthetic metrics are present, with extracted filters pre-applied.

The system handles complex PromQL queries — including binary operators (+, -, *, /) and logic operators (AND, OR, UNLESS) — by applying applicable filters and skipping those that cannot be reliably mapped.

A practical example demonstrates filtering error spans and logs for a checkout service using a multi-metric PromQL expression. Users can explore the feature on the Failed Checks page and brush time ranges to navigate directly into relevant telemetry.
