Notion introduces the Notion Developer Platform, enabling code to sync any data source into Notion databases and deploy custom agent tools as hosted Workers — free during beta, then running on Notion credits starting August 11, 2026. New additions include an External Agents API (Alpha) to bring Claude, Codex, and custom agents into Notion, a Notion CLI, an Agent SDK, webhook triggers, a Markdown API, and Notion MCP improvements that reduce token usage by 91% for database operations.
