Recently shipped nested folders, responsive spacing and text wrap, and enterprise-managed MCP authorization.

Admins can curate what users discover. Organizations and workspaces now choose which skills, templates, libraries, and Make kits get recommended.

Text wrap gained Balance and Pretty. Both options make text responsive, settable on a text layer, style, or individual paragraph.

Auto layout spacing now matches CSS. Auto spacing added "Around" and "Evenly" options, with the existing default renamed "Between".

Figma MCP now runs Weave tools. Weave tools execute from Codex, Claude, or Cursor through the Figma MCP server. Enterprise and Organization admins can centrally manage the server's connection to AI agents through their identity provider, removing individual consent prompts.

The Figma agent's skills expanded. New ways exist to discover, create, and share skills, including from the Community. The agent chat panel can now open in a separate window on the desktop app.

Vector editing gained erase and drag-to-fill. Precise canvas edits now use familiar interactions.

Code Connect 2.0 enforced the template cutoff. After the August 17 deadline, framework-specific parsers work only with figma connect migrate and figma connect unpublish; other commands exit with migration guidance. Pinning to @figma/code-connect@1 preserves legacy use. 1.5.3 added --unique to figma connect preview and exposed InstanceHandle.id; 1.5.2 fixed template files publishing an unexecutable import figma.

Folders and AI credit controls remain in place. Files organize into nested folders; admins set AI credit limits and process credit requests at team and organization level.
