Session and app workflow got steadier. Sessions resume without stale state or duplicate replay, pending questions and approvals survive reconnects, and queued messages can be edited before sending. Forking keeps you in the current session while printing a resume command, Escape asks before interrupting, and recent sessions stay pinned in the sidebar. Long sessions and Mermaid diagrams render with the official engine, and diff lines wrap by default.

Admin controls expanded. Enterprise Controls now let org admins set managed BYOK model defaults for sessions and subagents, apply model policies to service accounts, and name users with custom model overrides. Org owners can require verified email domains to join by invitation, and admins can turn off image generation org-wide. The Admin Console gained user removal, and the audit log filters by scope.

Agent interaction improved. Questions accept multi-select answers and keyboard navigation with Space or number keys. Slash commands run immediately instead of waiting for discovery, agent turns wait for MCP servers to finish loading, and subagents are delegated more selectively, with results reused instead of re-read. The built-in explorer droid can use every read-only tool, including command execution, web search, and MCP tools, while file edits stay blocked.

CLI and SDK updates. The CLI starts faster, honors lowercase proxy variables, and reports real process IDs for background commands. droid doctor diagnoses connectivity and local setup issues. The TypeScript SDK supports custom system prompts kept on resume, session message access, and a specification-mode helper. GitLab authentication is now per host, and MiniMax M2.5 was retired. GPT and Grok models bill at 60% off for a limited time.
