Cloud Agents can start from scratch and keep working on their own. Agents no longer need a connected SCM provider — pick Start from scratch, prompt, and Cursor creates an Origin repo in the background. Agents also subscribe to PRs they create, watch Slack threads, and run scheduled tasks, driving work to completion without intervention.

Origin hosts your code directly in Cursor, in early beta. The Codebase tab creates repos, and GitHub repos can sync alongside from connected orgs. Users control what syncs and can disconnect anytime; repos are viewable by anyone with access.

Builds give agents a ready environment to boot into. Cursor prepares ready-to-use copies of the dev environment in the background, so agents skip setup. Environments now boot 10x faster with 3x faster time to first token, included with Cloud Agents at no extra cost.

Google Workspace plugins connect Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Chat. Install from the Cursor Marketplace or Customize page to read, write, and act across Google Workspace without leaving Cursor.
