Conductor
Twenty releases shipped in under six weeks, covering performance, multi-agent orchestration, and provider breadth.
50% faster across the board — The Allegro rebuild (0.49.0) cut load times by half for tab creation, workspace switching, and file rendering, while trimming the app bundle by 150 MB and reducing memory footprint.1 PR status now restores from cache on startup, so the git panel shows real state immediately.
Ultracode effort and agent steering — Ultracode mode (0.61.0) combines extended effort with dynamic workflow orchestration for harder tasks.2 Separately, agent steering (0.50.0) lets users pick their preferred follow-up behavior, and all agents gained Conductor-aware context so they can answer infrastructure questions about the app itself.3
Cross-agent config sync — A Sync Agent Configs button (0.57.0) copies skills, slash commands, and MCP servers between Claude Code and Codex in one action.4 Conductor-aware agents (0.57.0) can now configure setup scripts and understand workspace structure without extra prompting.
Diff and queue improvements — The message queue (0.54.0) preserves partial edits, allows deleting or reordering queued messages, and pauses automatically during user edits.5 Diff navigation gained a Next Comment shortcut (⌘⌥J) and folder-grouped views with whitespace filtering.
Broader model and provider support — Claude Opus 4.8 (0.59.1), Opus 4.7 fast mode, and GPT-5.5 as the new default for new users all landed within the window. Bedrock, Vertex, and Foundry model selection was fixed (0.61.3) to honor ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_*_MODEL environment variables and display the resolved model name in the picker.6
Quality-of-life polish — Per-repo Spotlight isolation (0.55.0), HTML previews, PR automerge on CI passage, merge queue status in the git panel, and nine code syntax themes including Catppuccin, Dracula, and Tokyo Night rounded out the release cadence.78
