Extensions deprecated; sunset March 2027

Firebase Extensions is deprecated and will be sunset on March 31, 2027. Already-deployed extensions will continue to execute indefinitely. However, after March 31, 2027, users will lose all ability to update, reconfigure, or uninstall these extensions through the Firebase console or Firebase CLI.

If you are an extension publisher, you can begin migrating your published extensions to Cloud Functions for Firebase by packaging your extension logic using the 2nd gen Cloud Functions SDK.
