This release includes improvements and new features in the core SDK, Cloud Messaging, Authentication, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Firestore APIs. Additionally, this release comes with a SDK-wide error handling revamp allowing for more detailed error handling capabilities. See the error handling guide for more details.

Hybrid inference for web apps is now Generally Available (GA). This enables running inference using on-device models when available and seamlessly falling back to cloud-hosted models otherwise. Includes ability to determine which inference mode was used for a request.
