Updated the ChatGPT desktop app for macOS and Windows with improved navigation and features:

  • Clearer desktop layout: Global switcher to choose between ChatGPT and Codex. In ChatGPT, select Chat for quick questions or Work for end-to-end task completion.
  • Unified Recents: Chat and Work conversations appear together with sorting, filtering, and pinning options.
  • Projects in desktop app: Existing ChatGPT Projects now available in the app with ability to start Chat conversations or Work threads using Project context.
  • Continue Work across devices: Cloud Work conversations sync across web, mobile, and desktop for seamless continuation.
  • Codex unchanged: Codex remains a separate view with unchanged workflows and history. Quick Chats still available.
  • No workspace control changes: Existing access permissions, security settings, governance, and spend controls remain unchanged.
