Firebase AI Logic supports the latest stable Gemini 3.x Image model: gemini-3.1-flash-lite-image (aka "Nano Banana 2 Lite"). You can use this model to generate and edit images via Firebase AI Logic.

If you're using the Vertex AI Gemini API, make sure to set the location in your request to global.
