Neon shipped developer infrastructure across three interconnected directions: AI integration deepened with Agent Skills, MCP Server setup, and docs shortcuts that teach assistants Neon practices; platform accessibility expanded through unlimited free org members, domain-based member invites, and simplified Auth SDKs; and operational tooling matured with usage tracking APIs, connection pooling graphs, Stripe Projects integration, and two-factor authentication. The release cadence shows intentional layering—foundational auth and org features early, then AI-first features gaining prominence through the period, culminating in AI shortcuts baked into the docs themselves.
Focused on integrations, tooling, and developer experience. Neon added two-factor authentication for account security, shipped one-command setup for AI assistants through the MCP Server, expanded Free plan org membership to unlimited, and integrated with Stripe Projects to embed Postgres directly into the Stripe CLI workflow.
