Terraform Provider

Added a note to AI model configuration documentation clarifying the difference between global and custom configs.

Adopts api-client-go v23 typed clients and includes field renames that break compatibility with prior versions. Also scaffolds the launchdarkly_sdk_key resource.

The migrate-tf-syntax binaries are now included in preview releases of the Terraform provider.

launchdarkly_project.environments is now a map keyed by environment key instead of an ordered list — the map is authoritative and environments removed from it are deleted on apply. Multiple deprecated attributes are removed across access_token, custom_role, project, feature_flag, and metric resources. All block-syntax HCL configurations for approval_settings, variations, rules, targets, and others must be rewritten to attribute syntax. Migration tooling (migrate-tf-syntax) is provided.

launchdarkly_project.environments is now a map keyed by environment key instead of an ordered list, and attributes like client_side_availability and fallthrough use object syntax (attr = { … }) instead of single-element lists. Run migrate-tf-syntax to rewrite configurations; environments removed from the map are deleted on apply.

Ships migrate-tf-syntax binaries and a v3 migration guide, adds segment_approval_settings to launchdarkly_environment, and scaffolds 7 new auto-generated resources — Announcements, Big Segment Store Integration, Flag Import Configurations, Metrics, OAuth2 Clients, Release Policies, and Integration Delivery Configurations. Bug fixes preserve variation name/description when omitted from config and demote the prereq destroy plan check to a warning.

Maximum concurrency is now exposed as an optional provider attribute, and the IP allowlist behavior and tests have been fixed. The Go cache in the fork PR workflow is disabled to prevent cache poisoning.

This release removes deprecated attributes, including expire and policy_statements for access_token, policy for custom_role, and include_in_snippet for project and feature_flag. It also includes a state upgrade flow to migrate between v2 and v3.

All HCL block syntax for approval_settings, variations, rules, targets, context_targets, prerequisites, fallthrough, client_side_availability, custom_properties, defaults, environments, policy, policy_statements, inline_roles, statements, role_attributes, included_contexts, excluded_contexts, urls, instructions, boolean_defaults, messages, segments, and linked_segments must be rewritten to attribute syntax. Resources have been migrated to the Terraform plugin framework, with new support for Views resources, flag templates, IP allowlist configuration, and AI configs, plus plan-time validation for prerequisite flag destroy and fixes for rollout weight switching and team roles pagination.
