npx @buildinternet/releases get release-notesPDF previews now show their first pages immediately and draw the rest as you scroll, and usage totals count every billed model attempt including retried or refused ones. Also fixed Environment sessions appearing under an unregistered computer, ports dropped from the compact address bar, and a bug that opened the Environment panel in every tile.
Chat image gallery lets you step through the images of a message in the full-screen preview with arrow keys, buttons, or dots, and links a page opens in the browser panel now follow the same rules as the address bar. Long session transcripts stay responsive while the session page updates, Droid can read any public URL with FetchUrl, and sessions show when they are authenticating instead of looking idle.
Members can now connect their own account on an organization's self-hosted GitLab, and managers can require it for repository access.
The built-in browser can import Chrome cookies on macOS so you stay signed in, and clicking a folder path in Droid's message opens the Files panel and reveals that folder. Plus fixes for MCP tools with union input schemas, blocked request error messages, and a terminal crash when resuming sessions with many Droids.
Opening the web app no longer signs you out when another browser tab is stuck refreshing your session, and Droid now reads a range of a very large file without running out of memory. Also fixes machine details after reload, browser pane keyboard input, cancelable in-progress uploads, and organization-required Droid reviews on new pull requests.
Archiving a session on a disconnected machine now succeeds immediately, with that machine catching up on reconnect, and the macOS desktop app download is now signed and served from a stable link. New sessions open in an empty arrangement slot with draggable dividers for resizing tiles.
Highlighting Droid's response now offers Ask Side Chat, which opens the side chat with the text quoted, and the /resume command and /sessions can open a session directly when passed its id. Also fixed request timeout retries, custom model output limits, and responses cut short mid-stream.
Design mode now queues several comments in the browser panel or file preview and sends them as one message, and Slack direct messages from Droid tell you to reply in the thread to follow up. Fixed Windows input wrapping for accented characters and emoji, cut-off model responses now retry instead of running tools with incomplete input, and new chat model, effort, autonomy, and mode picks persist.
Droid doctor can now check model connectivity, MCP servers, and a complete turn when opted in, and signing in to an organization in another region no longer loops between regions. Also fixed runtime settings isolation so hooks, MCP servers, and commands Droid starts no longer inherit the settings file, plus connector counts in the startup header and one-step onboarding checkout.
The desktop app now keeps the organization you selected after switching instead of reverting to your default.
Model flags and session defaults can now pin the newest model in a tier or version line, and Droid no longer signs you out when several requests renew your session at the same time. Also fixes a session getting stuck after a model switch, dropped older images and PDFs on large-attachment turns, exec exiting while a delegated background task still runs, and strips credentials from repository URLs in wiki commands.
Turning telemetry off now stops every Factory-bound log, trace, and metric from the CLI, and the editor MCP server accepts only local connections and rejects browser requests. Also adds loading older chat messages on scroll, keeps Scripts running through session compaction, and fixes sudo-created files in the Factory folder being owned by root.
Script calls with fixed inputs now display their real values in the approval request before the Script runs. Fixed connector tools lost to a slow first load so they recover later in the same run, and images produced by a tool inside a Script now appear in the transcript instead of encoded text.
Terminals that support it now show whether Droid is working, waiting on you, or done, and script calls whose input is built at run time now request permission when they run. Also fixed a first message that pulls from origin leaving sessions stuck on a slow fetch, skills in delegated tasks being refused, and a status pane that erased text typed right after opening.
Sessions on a legacy model now run its replacement while you can still keep the legacy model, and installing a plugin no longer drops its own MCP server and custom Droid files. Desktop also fixes Droid Computer startup, repository selection limits, connection retry labeling, and reopening sessions with pending Script output.
A resume command's text after the session id now runs in that session, and script output too long to keep in full preserves its start and end. Bugs fixed include cut-off replies that now retry, requests over the model window that are shrunk before sending, and oversized messages refused with their size instead of being silently trimmed.
Picking an older model now warns first and offers to switch to a newer version, and MCP servers reached over HTTP connect faster at session start. Fixed Windows commands writing stray output into the terminal interface, sessions failing to load on an unusual line separator, and organization-managed settings not being read from the organization's own region.
The terminal now pages a session's full saved history with Alt or Option plus arrow keys, and the model picker groups older models under a clearly marked legacy toggle. Also fixed a bug where interrupted replies ran unfinished tool calls, dropped streamed replies, and MCP servers that exited now restart on the next call.
Attaching an image in a new message no longer deletes images from earlier turns, and image input now reaches GLM-5.3-Flash instead of being dropped. Droid also starts faster on Windows, no longer freezes at startup on machines with thousands of sessions, and session records now report viewed, updated, closed, and merged pull requests and issues.
