@ChatGPT is now available for ChatGPT Enterprise in Slack and Microsoft Teams, where users can DM it or mention it in an enabled channel to ask questions, summarize discussions, or draft work with teammates. It can use company information and tools connected by workspace administrators, who configure its instructions and approved tool connections.

Teams can be created in ChatGPT to group coworkers on the same projects, then share Pages or entire Spaces with them, along with shared plugins and recurring team tasks subject to workspace permissions. Team membership does not automatically share personal chats or app connections, and does not override organization access controls.

Authorized members can share reusable cloud environments and use them to start and continue Codex tasks from desktop, web, or mobile. Each task runs in its own isolated workspace and continues while your computer is asleep, subject to enterprise workspace cloud-access settings.

OpenAI Marketplace is now available in beta, letting eligible enterprise customers apply part of their OpenAI commitment toward qualifying partner software. The program is managed directly with OpenAI and participating partners, with eligibility determined per customer, product, and purchase, and customers contract with and receive invoices from the partner.

ChatGPT Enterprise workspace administrators can configure app connections for teams to use with approved tools and recurring tasks, with team owners enabling eligible workspace connections so teammates do not each connect the same provider account separately. Sharing a plugin and granting access to an app connection remain separate settings.

Site owners and editors can select Edit site from a published Site in a desktop browser to keep editing in ChatGPT, review changes, and publish when ready, and owners can create recurring cloud schedules from Automations. Workspace members can build private Sites using supported connected apps with read-only access to their own connected accounts, requiring org approval and Allow use in Sites enabled per plugin; visitor access can't be reused by background scheduled tasks.

Global admins can now manage whether ChatGPT Sites can use members' connected apps and whether applications can access ChatGPT Ads, on a redesigned External access page in the OpenAI Admin Console. Both permissions are off by default during the admin preview, and identity-only sign-in remains separate from data access.

Voice now supports plugins and connected apps on web, iOS, and Android, letting users follow written responses in chat during a conversation. Voice is also available in Work on web and mobile, with existing workspace controls, app access, data permissions, and action restrictions unchanged.

ChatGPT for Word is now available to ChatGPT Enterprise and Edu workspaces, installed through the same Microsoft add-in used for Excel and PowerPoint, with drafting, summarization, revision, and formatting from the sidebar. Word access will be enabled by default starting Oct 1, 2026, and admins can toggle it in the ChatGPT admin console; usage is billed with token-based pricing at API rates.

Tenant-wide SCIM now supports the API Platform: global admins can assign synchronized groups to API organizations and selected projects through Product access in Admin Console, extending the existing SCIM setup for ChatGPT workspaces and Ads accounts. Members get access without accepting an invitation, and SCIM updates the API memberships it manages as group assignments change in the identity provider.

Admins can use Models > Test in the Admin Console to inspect a member's model access and the settings behind it; testing does not grant access, change usage limits, or override plan or seat eligibility.

In the ChatGPT desktop app for macOS and Windows, typed requests can now be sent from the floating Pets controls and task progress checked without opening the main window. Open Quick Chat with Option+Space on macOS or Windows+Alt+P on Windows, and choose Mini in Settings > Pets to use the controls without a companion.

Appshots are now available on Windows, where pressing both Alt keys shares the frontmost app's window with ChatGPT along with a screenshot and any text the app exposes. The shortcut and destination chat are configurable in settings, and organization-level Appshots settings still apply.
