Skills are reusable instructions teams can store in a shared skills library and run from Notion Agent, with SKILL.md files downloadable to Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, and Grok. Also new: Custom Agents can call other Custom Agents as sub-agents, connect GitHub and Amplitude via Custom MCP in beta, and run post-meeting work automatically on Business and Enterprise plans.
Notion Releases
npx @buildinternet/releases get notion-releasesWorkspace owners can choose which AI models are available in Notion Agent and Custom Agents separately, and set a default model for Custom Agents. Available on Business and Enterprise plans, configured under Settings, Notion AI, General, Model controls.
Agents can now propose changes rather than making them directly; users review and approve each suggestion top to bottom, useful for line-level passes such as grammar.
A new Developer section in the workspace sidebar lets you manage Workers, connections, and personal access tokens, with an overview of deployed Workers and logs behind every run. A developer bar surfaces IDs for pages, databases, blocks, workspaces, and users, copyable individually or as the full API object.
The model picker now leads with a shortlist of models made for the hardest tasks, and every model has a scorecard comparing speed, intelligence, and cost. Favorites can be pinned and effort dialed up for more thorough answers.
Docs and databases can now be shared with a Custom Agent directly from the Share menu instead of going to the agent's settings.
Custom Agents can now be triggered by a "Meeting note summarized" trigger, running automatically after an AI Meeting Note is finished to update trackers, post recaps, or file tickets. The trigger is added in the Custom Agent's settings with a choice of which meetings kick it off.
High contrast mode is a new display option in Settings > Preferences > Appearance that makes text, icons, and borders easier to read. It is available on desktop and web.
Workers usage now appears in the Notion credits dashboard alongside other spend. Workers remain free to try during the beta on Business and Enterprise plans, including Business trials.
Notion's agent now has calendar tools to view and manage schedules, join calls, send invites, and find meeting times from chat. Users connect a calendar by asking the agent to "Connect your calendar" or through Settings → Connections; desktop only, with mobile coming soon.
Notion Workers can now be shared with teammates, with Can connect and Full access permission levels. Released from the Developer Portal under Settings → Connections.
Notion Agents is now available as an iOS app, allowing users to run agents on mobile devices.
Notion introduces the Notion Developer Platform, enabling code to sync any data source into Notion databases and deploy custom agent tools as hosted Workers — free during beta, then running on Notion credits starting August 11, 2026. New additions include an External Agents API (Alpha) to bring Claude, Codex, and custom agents into Notion, a Notion CLI, an Agent SDK, webhook triggers, a Markdown API, and Notion MCP improvements that reduce token usage by 91% for database operations.
