Agent API: New Models

The Agent API added support for several new third-party models this month, all with direct first-party token pricing.

  • Claude Opus 4.8 — anthropic/claude-opus-4-8, Anthropic's flagship model.
  • Gemini 3.5 Flash — google/gemini-3.5-flash, Google's fast multimodal model.
  • Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite — google/gemini-3.1-flash-lite (and -preview), a cost-efficient option.
  • Grok 4.3 and Grok 4.20 family — xai/grok-4.3, xai/grok-4.20-non-reasoning, and xai/grok-4.20-multi-agent.
