Recently shipped GA Standalone Activities in Go SDK `v1.49.0` and a new runtime control surface for activities in TypeScript `v1.24.0`.

**Standalone Activities are GA in the Go SDK.**
- Options renamed: `Details` is now `StaticDetails`, and `GetDetails` is now `GetStaticDetails`.
- `DescribeActivityOptions` gained `IncludeInput`, `IncludeOutcome`, `IncludeHeartbeatDetails`, and `IncludeLastFailure`; descriptions now carry `ExecutionTime` and `TotalHeartbeatCount`.

**TypeScript `v1.24.0` gives running activities runtime controls.**
- `ActivityHandle` adds `pause`, `unpause`, `updateOptions`, and `restoreOriginalOptions` (experimental); `describe` can include input and result.
- `@temporalio/openai-agents` can run OpenAI Agents `SandboxAgent`s as Workflows, with sandbox operations as Activities. The package now requires `@openai/agents-core` and `@openai/agents-openai` `~0.14.3` — projects pinned to `0.13.x` hit a peer dependency conflict.
- Experimental external storage selectors now receive a `StorageDriverSelectContext` instead of `StorageDriverStoreContext`.

**New Cloud Run and OTLP integrations for Go workers.** The experimental `CloudRunIDPlugin` reads Cloud Run instance metadata to set client identity for worker pools and services. A Cloud Run OpenTelemetry plugin and a shared, provider-neutral `otlpworker` module configure metrics and tracing and flush telemetry on shutdown.

**Breaking changes for Go contrib drivers.** GCS and S3 storage drivers raised the minimum Go version to `1.26.0` and the minimum Go SDK to `v1.49.0`. GCS claim metadata now identifies objects with `object_name`; the legacy `key` field still reads and writes until the driver reaches GA.

**Server releases are security maintenance.** `v1.30.7`–`v1.30.8`, `v1.31.3`–`v1.31.4`, and `v1.32.1` bumped Go and dependencies to address CVEs, moved the default CLI to `1.9.1`, and configured CHASM internal callback namespace binding.
