Several product updates this month extend MCP tooling, improve Media Library navigation, and tighten Studio reliability.

**MCP agents can now manage Media Library assets.** v2.40.0 adds tools for finding, editing, and organizing assets, checking where they're used, and uploading local files up to 50 MiB — including new versions of existing assets. Duplicate uploads preserve the existing asset ID rather than creating a new one. Earlier updates (v2.37–v2.39) brought local-file and ChatGPT attachment uploads to Content Lake datasets and fixed input validation to name unexpected keys and show accepted alternatives.

**Singletons are now a first-class Studio configuration.** v6.17.0 introduces a beta singletons API that removes the need to write custom structure overrides or install third-party plugins. The same release adds live document count badges to structure lists.

**Unsaved edits survive connection failures.** The React App SDK v3.7.0 keeps local edits in memory and resubmits them with exponential backoff after a 401, 5xx, dropped connection, or transaction conflict — including edits made during an expired session, which save automatically on the next sign-in.

**Schema validation errors now tell you which workspace failed.** Studio v6.18.0 names the workspace, project ID, and dataset in schema validation error messages, on the error screen and in copied reports.

**Media Library added a list view.** The September 30 release adds a compact, keyboard-navigable list view alongside the existing grid, with sort by modified date and folder expand-in-place.

**Enterprise SAML can now block non-SSO access.** Organization admins can prevent non-SAML users from joining via a new toggle in Manage SSO settings, available on Enterprise plans.
