Recently shipped private-location synthetic checks, cardholder-data redaction before storage, and AI SDLC Insights support for GitHub Copilot App and OpenCode.

**AI SDLC Insights broadened its coding-agent coverage.** Sessions from GitHub Copilot App and OpenCode now feed cost tracking, developer adoption metrics, and AI-assisted pull-request analysis; install the Dash0 plugin or add `@dash0/agent-plugin-opencode-v2`, then run `/dash0-configure`. Recommended actions on the Overview tab flag Risk, Watch, or Opportunity findings with specific next steps, and Agent0 answers questions against the page's current tab, time range, and filters.

**Cardholder data is redacted before storage.** A new dataset setting detects likely card numbers in logs, spans, web events, and metrics before they land — keeping the first six and last four digits and replacing verification codes, PIN blocks, and track data with `<REDACTED>`. Detection is pattern-based, so encoded, encrypted, or split card numbers still get through.

**Synthetic checks now run from private locations.** Checks reach internal services from inside your network with the same results and notifications, and each location shows whether it is connected. Run several for resilience.

**Automations gained GitHub Actions triggers and scoped edit access.**
- Triggers fire on workflow runs, workflow jobs, manual dispatches, check runs, and check suites, filterable by repository, branch, workflow name, status, or conclusion.
- Only admins and the members or teams an automation is shared with can edit or delete it now; previously anyone with dataset read access could change every automation in it.

**Spend forecasting moved onto the Billing & Plans page.** The new Forecast tab scales a recent usage window to a full billing cycle and prices it against your real tiers, broken down by SKU and dataset.

**Operator work: OpenSLO CRDs and a retiring resource attribute.** Cluster-wide filters and transforms and OpenSLO CRD support shipped. Deprecated `container.image.tag` keeps being emitted alongside `container.image.tags` until operator v0.165.0, after which only the new attribute remains — update queries, alerts, and dashboards that use it.
