Recently shipped built-in AI inference and new deployment regions in Australia and Canada.

**AI inference runs inside Convex.** First-party primitives let teams run prompts, structured generation, and model workflows without assembling separate infrastructure.

**Deployments can now be provisioned in Australia and Canada.** EU plans also gained included usage, matching what US plans already provide.

**Log searches are shareable.** The logs page takes its search term from a query parameter, so a link can open a pre-filled search.

**Scoped dev tokens keep agents out of production.** `npx convex dev` keys normally carry the logged-in user's full power, so a too-helpful agent can run `npx convex deploy` against prod; keys can now be limited to narrower scopes. The MCP server (`npx convex mcp`) speaks the stateless MCP protocol, and `getServiceToken` mints service tokens for first-party services.

**Local deployments upgrade in place.** Upgrading no longer runs a snapshot export/import cycle, so it doesn't depend on local data size and doesn't prompt about transferring it.
