The standout is a provider-neutral [OTLP worker module](/release/rel_EOdSwaqoX2oJ0N_QMWHCX-contrib-opentelemetry-otlpworker-v0-1-0) that extracts the shared telemetry glue — constructing providers, applying metrics and tracing, resolving env values, and forcing flushes on shutdown — into a reusable package so the AWS Lambda and Cloud Run integrations stop duplicating plumbing.\n\nOn top of it came two first releases: a [Google Cloud Run OpenTelemetry plugin](/release/rel_lToCCmR-Fd99c9mThVMCm-contrib-gcp-cloudrun-otel-v0-1-0) that configures the SDK's metrics handler and tracing interceptor, points OTLP gRPC providers at a localhost collector by default, resolves service names from `OTEL_SERVICE_NAME`, `CLOUD_RUN_WORKER_POOL`, and `K_SERVICE`, and flushes telemetry when the worker goes down; and an experimental [Cloud Run ID plugin](/release/rel_B-ToVlGmXCpZWx4Nsq6fs-contrib-gcp-cloudrun-id-v0-1-0) that registers once on the client and stamps each connection with the instance's Cloud Run identity, which every derived worker then inherits. Together they mean a Cloud Run–hosted Temporal worker can now identify itself and report metrics without hand-rolled glue.\n\n### Task runners that survive bad days\n\nOver at Trigger.dev, the week's work centered on keeping workers alive and current. The headline change moves to the [current Node.js LTS](/release/rel_ETRqid5WiKsTxNLp5dPzD-trigger-dev-v4-7-2) baseline, with chat-related improvements landing alongside it and further fixes carried in a [follow-up patch](/release/rel_xuv2Wvy7tZMp1ORUOTKNx-trigger-dev-v4-7-1). The [core release](/release/rel_5lyFZJNJZglfzsjaHjpiE-trigger-dev-v4-7-0) leading the batch also folded in chat improvements. Matching Helm charts shipped in lockstep for [the 4.7.0 cut](/release/rel_coWPSjEUxgxUxZ1HHUImK-helm-chart-4-7-0), [the 4.7.1 patch](/release/rel_Xsz14tG6DZaRE6GXPiChy-helm-chart-4-7-1), and [the 4.7.2 patch](/release/rel_9JL1m9Qe5ZdMmYi-aEhMD-helm-chart-4-7-2), so self-hosted operators could roll the same fixes onto their clusters.\n\nn8n's week was a similar story of queue and runner resilience spread across its 2.42 line and backported patches. The runner no longer dies on an unhandled promise rejection, the queue backend [stops waiting on Bull's job.finished()](/release/rel_Qb-xdLo3VKCALKjYrHJSR-n8n-2-42-2) for executions that are already queued, and database health checks now [count a ping as successful](/release/rel_vJpo-ehoezM2OcL42wyE1-n8n-2-41-4) even when the reply arrives during event-loop lag — a small fix that prevents false alarms under load. Execution retrieval got sturdier too: the API now [returns an execution whose stored trace context is incomplete](/release/rel_vJpo-ehoezM2OcL42wyE1-n8n-2-41-4) rather than choking on it. The 2.42 release that anchors the line also straightened out AI Agent Tool nesting under pre-v3 parent agents and tidied MCP workflow docs, while the 2.42.1 patch emitted valid schemas for untyped values in the Public API spec. Further down, a 2.41.5 update and a cjs-module-lexer pin rounded out the smaller fixes, alongside an incomplete-trace-context backport to the 1.123
