Several tools also shipped new features for managing sessions and MCP tooling.","body":"### A new model arrives\n\nThe week's defining release came from Anthropic, which introduced Claude Fable 5 in [Claude Code v2.1.170](/release/rel_NVEHVekPxdVgcNKIlGGSz-claude-code-v2-1-170-introduces-claude-fable-5-and-fixes-session-transcript). Announced as a \"Mythos-class\" model, Fable 5 is described as exceeding the capabilities of any model Anthropic has made generally available. For Claude Code users, updating to this version provides immediate access. The release also fixed a frustrating bug where sessions launched from the VS Code integrated terminal (or any shell inheriting Claude Code environment variables) weren't saving transcripts and thus wouldn't appear in `--resume`.\n\n### Bugbot gets dramatically better\n\nCursor delivered one of the most practical improvements of the week with a major upgrade to Bugbot. [Bugbot is now over 3x faster](/release/rel_-YYbI2FqLv5Vib_jKQBKx-cursor-bugbot-is-3x-faster-22-cheaper-and-finds-10-more-bugs), with average review times dropping from ~5 minutes to ~90 seconds. It's also finding 10% more bugs per review (0.62 up from 0.56) and costs ~22% less per run. These gains come from progress training Composer 2.5, and the `/review` command now works before pushing code and can be configured to only review what's new in a PR.\n\n### Session management and workspace tools\n\nSeveral products focused on helping developers organize their work. OpenAI's Codex iOS client [added a workspace file browser](/release/rel_V7xMVoEOcUHVI0xF1B5Ca-codex-for-ios-adds-workspace-file-browser-mcp-approvals-and-latex-rendering) for previewing files and linking workspace paths into prompts, a directory picker for choosing workspace folders when starting new threads, and `/goal` support for creating and managing goals from mobile. A [follow-up iOS release](/release/rel_IKWQvy_emr6ptU4AkxnkX-codex-chatgpt-for-ios-adds-branch-selection-worktree-creation-and-goal-support) added branch selection and worktree creation for new threads.\n\nCognition's Devin introduced [Session Folders](/release/rel_PymMdT6NTiI29S_w8GssP-devin-june-12-2026-adds-session-folders-and-ultra-slack-command), letting users group sessions into named folders in the sidebar with drag-and-drop support. Devin also added a `!ultra` Slack command to start Ultra sessions directly from chat and the ability to toggle between Ultra and Fast modes mid-session.\n\nClaude Code [v2.1.176](/release/rel_aXnMSiO-0rihR23zvoShj-claude-code-v2-1-176-generates-session-titles-in-conversation-language-and) generated session titles in the language of your conversation and improved Bedrock credential caching, while [v2.1.175](/release/rel_18vx_WY3lCXtJCVFgrXPW-claude-code-v2-1-175-enforces-available-models-in-managed-settings) added an `enforceAvailableModels` managed setting that constrains the default model to an admin-defined allowlist.\n\n### MCP and tooling convergence\n\nOpenAI's Codex CLI [0.140.0](/release/rel_rbPBJd0yMmyt0_a-u9VOG-codex-cli-0-140-0-adds-claude-code-import-and-auto-rebuilds-corrupted-databases) added a `/import` command to selectively bring in setup, project config, and recent chats from Claude Code, while the [2026-06-11 app release](/release/rel_HOLmi6zZTBBzrOqy5C4ig-codex-2026-06-11-app-adds-rate-limit-reset-banking-and-developer-mode) added Developer Mode for browser use, giving Codex controlled Chrome DevTools Protocol access. On the mobile side, the [iOS client](/release/rel_V7xMVoEOcUHVI0xF1B5Ca-codex-for-ios-adds-workspace-file-browser-mcp-approvals-and-latex-rendering) added MCP approval choices for allowing requested actions in the current chat or across chats.\n\nGrok Build iterated rapidly across multiple releases, adding Mermaid diagram rendering improvements, better session resuming, and fixes for tool call corruption.
