Recently shipped Triage Rules — automated merges, closures, and fixes for routine pull requests — alongside a TypeScript configuration format.

**Triage now ranks the whole queue.**
- Every pull request carries a `P0`–`P3` priority with a stated reason, drawn from issue severity, linked Jira or Linear priority, and blocked downstream work.
- Admins describe ranking in plain language, which CodeRabbit turns into priority rules.
- Triage Rules merge low-risk changes once required checks and reviews pass, close stale pull requests after a 24-hour notice, auto-fix failed CI and review feedback, and send Slack reminders that respect quiet hours.
- Triage reached GitLab Cloud and self-managed GitLab in beta on Team plans.

**Configuration is programmatic now.** `.coderabbit.config.ts` supports PR-aware conditions, reusable merged fragments, local includes, and shared fragments pulled from another repository via `includeRemote({ repo, path, ref? })`. The optional `@coderabbitai/config` SDK adds autocomplete and type checking; existing YAML keeps precedence.

**Two features traded names.** Fix comments (formerly Autofix) repairs selected review comments as a one-off; Autofix (formerly Autopilot) drives a pull request to completion. Old commands keep working as aliases for a limited time, and the CLI's `autopilot` command is replaced next release.

**Security review can block merges.** Publishing the CodeRabbit Security check with a severity threshold and requiring it in GitHub blocks merges while qualifying comments stay unresolved. AI Deep Scan draws context from linked repositories and reports provenance naming the scan and its context repositories; its findings API now opens to all plans with a `security:read` key.

**The CLI added cloud tasks.** `cr code` manages cloud tasks, and shell completion and richer review JSON arrived. `cr review --remote owner/repo` reviews without a checkout, `cr review --deep` and `cr usage` cover deep reviews and remaining capacity, and `cr code handoff` pushes local sessions and skills to the cloud. Elsewhere, `reviews.allow_author_approval: false` stops authors approving their own pull requests, and automatic repository linking reached GitLab and Bitbucket Cloud.
