## Webflow Localize has its own panel

Webflow Localize now has a dedicated panel in the Designer, making it easier to manage translations and localize your site.

Previously, localization settings were scattered across different areas of the interface. Now you can access all localization features from one centralized panel, streamlining your workflow and making it simpler to:

- Create and manage locales
- Configure locale settings
- View translation status
- Access localization tools

The new Localize panel is available in the Designer's right sidebar and provides a cleaner, more intuitive way to work with your site's localization features.

### How it works

Primary page names will now appear clearly labeled in your pages panel, allowing you to:

- Quickly identify which pages are primary pages
- Better organize and manage your page hierarchy
- Streamline your navigation through complex page structures

This feature is now available to all Webflow users and requires no additional setup or configuration.

## Reset localized component prop defaults

We've added the ability to reset localized component prop defaults back to the primary locale values. When you change a component prop value in a localized page, you can now reset it to match the primary locale's value.

### How to reset localized component prop defaults

1. Navigate to a localized page in the Designer
2. Select a component instance
3. In the Inspector, find the prop you've customized for this locale
4. Click the reset icon next to the prop value
5. The prop will revert to the primary locale's value

This feature is useful when you want to:
- Quickly revert accidental changes to localized props
- Synchronize component props across locales
- Maintain consistency between locale variations

### Use cases

- **Consistency management**: Keep component prop values aligned across locales unless intentionally customized
- **Efficient localization**: Reduce the need to manually re-enter values when you want to match the primary locale
- **Error correction**: Quickly fix mistakes in localized prop configurations

<Release version="v1.4.8" date="June 8, 2026" published="2026-06-08T16:12:30.000Z" url="https://github.com/figma/code-connect/releases/tag/v1.4.8" org="figma" source="figma-code-connect">
## Code Connect 1.4.8

## Fixed

### General

- Fixed browser compatibility issues where importing `@figma/code-connect` in Storybook or webpack environments would fail with "Can't resolve 'child_process'" or "Console is not a constructor" errors. Node.js-only modules (`child_process`, `console`) are now imported dynamically only when needed by CLI commands, making the package safe to use in browser environments.

### Template files

- Fixed template projects failing to publish or parse when Code Connect could not infer a React, HTML, Swift, or Compose parser. The CLI now proceeds without a parser and uses the default template-file globs.
- Fixed a "`getInstanceSwap(...)?.executeTemplate is not a function`" error that could break a template when `getInstanceSwap('prop')` referenced an instance-swap property that isn't present on the selected node (for example a property that is conditionally hidden by a boolean). The missing property now renders an inline error, consistent with the other accessors, instead of failing the whole template.
- Fixed migrated text-layer references (from the React/HTML `figma.textContent('...')` helper) producing a TypeScript error and silently rendering nothing when the layer was missing. Migration now preserves the original behavior — the text renders when the layer is found, and a clear error is shown when it isn't.

## Features

### Template files

- The `figma connect migrate` command now uses the same `--dir` and `--file` filtering behavior as `publish`, `parse`, and `unpublish`. The migrate-only positional glob argument has been removed.
- The `figma connect migrate` command can now migrate compatible large source files into batch template files. Files with 10 or more Code Connect docs are attempted automatically, `--batch all` forces a batch attempt, and `--batch none` disables batch migration.

### How to use pan and zoom

**Zoom in and out:**
- Use your mouse wheel or trackpad scroll to zoom in and out
- On Mac trackpad, pinch to zoom
- Use keyboard shortcuts: `+` to zoom in, `-` to zoom out, or `0` to reset to 100%

**Pan around the canvas:**
- Hold the spacebar and click-drag to pan around your page
- On Mac trackpad, use two-finger drag to pan

**Reset your view:**
- Press `0` on your keyboard to reset zoom to 100% and center your view

These controls are available when editing any page in the Designer and work seamlessly with your existing design workflow.

## Track AI and MCP changes in your Site Activity Log | Webflow Updates

# Track AI and MCP changes in your Site Activity Log

We're making it easier to track changes made by AI and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations in your Webflow projects. Now, when you review your Site Activity Log, you can see exactly which changes were made by AI features and which were made through MCP integrations.

## What's new

**AI and MCP activity tracking** — The Site Activity Log now displays AI-generated changes and MCP integration changes with clear labels, so you can easily identify who (or what) made modifications to your site.

This enhancement helps you:

- Monitor AI-assisted design and content changes
- Track updates made through MCP integrations
- Maintain better oversight of your project's development history
- Understand the full context of changes in your site

## How it works

When you open your Site Activity Log, look for entries labeled with:

- **AI** — Changes made by Webflow's AI features
- **MCP** — Changes made through Model Context Protocol integrations

This makes it simple to review what was automated versus what was manually edited, giving you complete visibility into your site's evolution.
