**Summer Release 2026** graduated 30-plus features to general availability across accounting, cards, and expense management.

**Accounting integration got deeper on day one.**

**Early access added legal and preferred names.** Users can now keep a legal name for compliance and a preferred name for display — useful when the two differ and card issuance is at stake. Early access also refreshed the Wallet tab and navigation in the mobile app.

**Team API took over org structure management.** Create user (`POST /v2/users/create`) creates an inactive employee without an invitation; departments, locations, and titles gained update and delete endpoints; cost centers arrived with `cost_centers` OAuth scopes. List users picked up filters for name, email, status, manager, department, location, title, cost center, legal entity, and custom fields, and user objects now carry `cost_center_id` and `legal_entity_id`. Breaking: `GET /v2/users/{id}/limit` and the deprecated user limit endpoint were removed, and `load_custom_fields` replaces `expand[]` on List users.

**Payment, travel, and expense objects carry more context.** Transfers expose `imad` and `omad` for domestic and international wires; bookings expose `policy` with out-of-policy status and violated rules; expense objects expose `cost_center_id` and an expandable `cost_center`. Breaking: `INVITED` was removed from `Trip.Status`.
